Appearance:
Beelzebub often takes the appearance of a monstrous humanoid ram-like creature with massive bat-like wings, glowing red eyes and black fur. He is alternately depicted as a fly, representative of being born out of rotting flesh and spreading disease.
Purpose/Role:
- As a member of the Unholy Trinity (alongside Lucifer and Astaroth), Beelzebub is among the most powerful demons in Hell, taking second place only to Satan himself
- Particularly adept at demonic possession
- Originally embedded himself in golden idols so as to lure humans, but has since moved onto the possession of human beings, using them to carry out heinous acts
- Delights in chaos and suffering
- Spreads belief in false gods and leads humans into temptation
- Fans the flames of war, destruction and lechery
