Purpose/Role:
- Depraved and sexually shameless
- Known for her proclivity for abducting newborn babies during the night and also causing epilepsy in children
- Most know Lilith as Eve’s predecessor, i.e. Adam’s first wife
- It is said that Lilith was made from the same clay as Adam whereas Eve was made from one of Adam’s ribs
- Lilith abandoned Adam after refusing to become subservient to him
- She did not return to the Garden of Eden until after she had partnered with the archangel Samael
